Guillaume Brès attended engineering school at École Centrale de Lyon, France, where he received his Engineering Diploma in 2001. After a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University in 2002, he earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology in 2007, with main emphasis on aeroacoustics and flow control. Guillaume spent two and a half years in the Aeroacoustics and Application Product Management group of Exa Corporation in San Francisco, before joining Cascade Technologies in Palo Alto in January 2011, where he leads the development and deployment efforts of the aeroacoustics capabilities in Cascade's flow solvers.
